Selling a Clone Trooper

So, a number of years ago, I decided that I wanted to build another clone trooper, and picked up a kit to build. Megan was interested in trooping, so I change course and made it for her. We made it wearable, and she’s worn a couple of times, but has largely lost interest in it. Since then, it’s been taking up space in our basement either in a box or on a mannequin. Recently, Megan noted that she’d be more likely to wear a Shore Trooper, because it looks more comfortable, and so  I’m looking to sell this one off to fund that particular project.

Here’s the details: This clone armor is a Watch City Armory Phase 1 suit. It’s a fan-sculpted kit from my friend Brian Anderson, and it’s a pretty good one, IMO. It’s built and painted up to look like Waxer from the episode Innocents of Ryloth. The armor comes with the following:

  • Helmet
  • Chest / Back assembly
  • Abs / Kidney
  • Hips / Belt
  • Shoulder Bells (2)
  • Upper arms (2)
  • Forearms (2)
  • Handplates (2)
  • Thighs (2)
  • Shins (2)
Shoes, gun, undersuit and neckseal aren’t included, but they’re pretty easy to pick up. Pictures from the build.
We never ended up getting it formally approved with the 501st Legion, but I think it’s about 99% of the way there. The paint could use a bit of touchup and a better weathering job, and the colors are pretty close to that the TV show, but the whole thing could be repainted to any of the other clones from the show.

Looking for $950. If you’re interested, drop me a line. (US only – I don’t want to go through the hassle of shipping this thing overseas.)
